Provenance and Acquisition

Durham, Benedictine cathedral priory of St Cuthbert (?) : Laud Misc. 700 is probably copied from Fairfax 6, a Durham manuscript, whence also passages were copied in BL Harley 4843. The OE Bede's Death Song is in the same hand in both manuscripts. (MLGB3: inferred evidence).
