Provenance and Acquisition

On fols 201-203 is nearly contemporary scribbling by schoolboys at Cremona (?). One sentence is 'Iste liber est mey Chini de Serguarneris et fratris eius qui uadunt ad scholam magistri Petri de Manna Cremonensis.'

Purchased by the Bodleian at Sotheby's on 2 April 1859 from the collection of Guillaume Libri. 754 in the sale catalogue
