Layout
Ruling: Fols. 1–8: up to 25 lines. Fols. 9–328: 20–27 lines. Ruling type similar to Leroy 20C1.
Hand(s)
One scribe, who wrote a few marginalia. Items 2–4 added by the scribe in a smaller hand.
Decoration
Rubrication: titles, initials (occasionally zoomorphic) and penwork headings in vermilion, bistre and blue; lemmata marked in same colours. On fols. 254v, 260r, 267r, 273r, 283r, 295r, 301r the scribe drew with a compass two concentric semi-circles at the right of the page and left the space within blank, on both recto and verso.
Binding
Binding of vellum over boards, late 18th cent.; quires strengthened by earlier binder with paper strips from Latin and Greek books, the latter perhaps liturgical. Fore-edges painted blue.

Chapters 1–14 as indicated by Stevenson pp. xxiv–xxvi; 15 ends πῶϲ οὐ παραδοξότατον; 15a (not in Stevenson) has title only, and fols. 254v–256v were originally left blank for the text; 16 as in Stevenson; 17 breaks off with the final lemma of Ode 9 (cp. Menaion, Rome ed., vol. v, pp. 337–44) with space left for some commentary.
