One of two bifolia, the text complete except for some of the outer col. of one leaf torn away; the other a single bifolium, lacking most of the outer col. from the first leaf, the first recto and last verso badly defaced.
Ruled with fine pencil in 2 cols of 40 lines
(A): Written in an English gothic rotunda bookhand.
(B): Written in a French gothic rotunda bookhand.
(A): Red or blue initials flourished in the other colour; yellow highlighting.
(B): Red or blue initials flourished in the other colour.
Provenance and Acquisition
Another leaf, from the same book as B, is in the collection of Dr C. F. R. De Hamel, bought from Quaritch (Cat. 1056 , no. 28, where it was illustrated). It contains lines 15519–15680.
