Origin: 14th century, late

Provenance and Acquisition

Exeter Cathedral: 'Istum librum ... dominus Ricardus Brounst vicarius de choro ecclesie Cathedralis beati Petri Exonie librarie ecclesie Cathedralis predicte dedit & assignauit imperpetuum ibidem permansurum', late 15th cent. He was vicar choral in 1417. Identifiable in the catalogue of 1506 (MLGB).

Presented by the dean and chapter of Exeter in 1602.
