Layout

a central text area in double columns 225 × 60–5 mm. , with 18 mm between columns, in 45 lines to the column.

Completely surrounded by gloss, generally written at three lines of gloss to two of text, a surviving 86 lines of gloss.

Hand(s)

Written in two sizes of Italian textura rotunda, s. xiv.

Decoration

Remains of a much faded 5-line champe-type initial.

Individual canons introduced by 2-line alternate red and blue lombards on Italian-style flourishing of the other colour.

One-line alternate red and blue lombards without flourishing to introduce the headings (red following the blue flourished lombards, and vice versa).

Running titles across the opening a red ‘liber’ and blue book number ‘ii.’.
