Layout
In double columns, the gloss comprising the full column with the commented biblical text in a double-sized script set in; each column 265 × 70 mm. , with 13 mm between columns, in 59 gloss lines to the column. Prickings; bounded and ruled in black ink.
Hand(s)
Written in two sizes of gothic textura semiquadrata, probably French, s. xiii med. (below top line).
Decoration
Sections of the Pauline text introduced by 1-line alternate red and blue lombards, on flourishing of the other colour.
In the gloss, the head of each selection marked by a 1-line red or blue lombard in the contrasting colour.
Biblical lemmata underlined in red.
Running title in alternate red and blue lombards on the recto ‘RO’, followed in red by ‘amb’ with three dots.
