Titchfield, Hampshire, Premonstratensian abbey of the Assumption of St Mary and St John the Evangelist: 'Hic est liber abbathie beate Marie de Tychefelde ordinis Premonstratensis Wyntoniensis diocesis iuxta Portesmuthe in comitatu Suthampton quem qui ab eadem per fraudem vel per donacionem aut per vendicionem seu alio quoquo modo vel colore alienauerit siue retinuerit qnominus eiusdem abbatie sit, seu qui hunc titulum deleuerit, consilium, auxilium aut assensum in aliquo premiissorum prebuerit, alienatum sit nomen eins de libro vite, & in hoc & in futuro seculo infirmitatem & damnacionem percipiat sempiternam. Insuper & ipse & omnes fautores eius anathema sint maranatha . Fiat fiat in hijs scriptis. Amen'; long inscription stretching over a double opening (fols. 2v–3r). 'B XXV', at foot of fol. 1r.
