History
Provenance and Acquisition
In 1697 this MS. belonged to dr. William Brewster (Bernard's Catalogi MSS, ii, pars i, no. 9067).
It probably came to the library in 1715 with other of his MSS., but it is not entered in the Benefactors' Register with the rest, and when MS. Jones 60 (no. 8968 in the present catalogue) was temporarily lost, this MS. was put into that place, and bore the pressmark 'MS. Jones 60' from the early part of the 18th cent. till 1891.
