Prayers for private use

Arranged for each morning and evening of the week, composed by a Protestant living within the Holy Roman Empire (see p. 43).

At p. 187 'Sequuntur Orationes aliquot certarum personarum'. The first is 'Oratio pastoris'; others are 'Adolescentis', 'contra Turcam', 'ante Eucharistæ sumptionem' and the like.

A 17th century hand has added an index of the prayers.

This manuscript appears to have been printed on 197 pages 16mo, to judge by the marginal marks.

This particular volume came into the Library in 1720, and bears 'R. Myddelton Massey S.R.S. 1713.'
