MS. Bodl. 529 – Part 2
Contents
An anonymous theological treatise in seven parts (part 1. de Deo, 2. de humanitate Christi, 3. de sacramento altaris, 4. de beata Maria, 5. de virtutibus, 6. de vitiis, 7. narrationes). There is a list of the chapters at fol. 184. The seventh part shows that it was written by a Cistercian, and perhaps in the neighbourhood of the Cistercian abbey of Grandis Silva (Grand Selve) near Toulouse (see foll. 182v, 183v, 184). At fol. 172v is a 'narratio' of an unworthy priest named Radulphus celebrating mass in St. Mary Magdalene church in Oxford on July 25, 1256, who was soundly cuffed by a spirit.
