The transaction is for some land in Goldale, Yorkshire, and is between Hugh, son of Lefwin and Reginald of Goldale (now Gowdale, Snaith). A similar grant for land in Goldale, which has Reginald as one of the witnesses alongside Hylard de Hecke, who also witnesses this document, is number 219 in Yorkshire Deeds, compiled by M. J. Stanley Price (1909-55)
