Summary Catalogue no.: 1954

Contents

Language(s): Latin

1. (fol. iv verso)
Richard of Thetford, Ars dilatandi sermones (summary)
Rubric: Istis modis potest quis habundare in themate
Incipit: Primo per qualemcunque termini notificationem

This is ascribed in an almost contemporary list of contents on fol. iv to 'frater Ricardus de Tefforď, as a 'Summa de modo predicandi'; cf. Charland, Artes praedicandi (1936), 79.

2. (fol. 1)
Biblical concordance 'De vitando consortio' (Stegmüller, Bibl. 10084)

The first title is 'De uitando consorcio ... malorum', the second 'de celeri conuersione a seculo', and a conspectus of the whole precedes. This is no doubt for a preacher's use.

3. (fol. 183v)
Robert Grosseteste, Templum Domini
Rubric: Libellus domini Roberti Lincolniensis qui intitulatur Templum Dei [list of contents]
Incipit: Templum Dei sanctum est ... Sermo iste quamuis omnes tangať
