No. 187 in some sale of c. 1800

A document on fols iii-vi signed by Ridolfo Giorgetti and Tommaso Gelli, 25 February 1854. attests that the manuscript contains annotations by Scipione Ammirato (d. 1601). The owner of the manuscript at that time was Ottavio Gigli, who had obtained it from the Biblioteca Rinuccini at Florence

Purchased by the Bodleian at Sotheby's on 4 April 1859 from the collection of Guillaume Libri. No. 925 in the sale catalogue
