Fine borders, initials. Written in humanistic script by Hieronimus Baliocus of Novara , fol. 487v. (P&A ii. 744, pl. LXXI)

8- to 13-line gold initials in two styles (changing at fol. 104r), with white vine-stem decoration on green, blue and pink background, and sprays of leaves, flowers, berries and gold disks extending into margins, on fols. 24r, 43v, 54r, 63v, 89v, 104r, 119r, 131v, 145r, 171r, 179r, 188r, 197r, 212v, 229v, 252r, 280v, 293v, 305r, 316v, 342r, 353r, 363v, 382r, 392r, 402r, 411r, 421v, 432r, 445v, 460r, 473v.

(rubbed) in left margin; nude human figure climbing the stems in lower margin; diamond-shaped panel with jewels in upper margin (rubbed); laurel wreath with arms of Gian Matteo Bottigella and his initials 'IO' and 'MA' in lower margin; laurel wreaths in four corners of the border with the emblems of his wife, Bianca Visconti.
