16th century?, Flemish?: wood boards; plain red velvet, very worn (but intact) on spine, well preserved on covers; traces at fore-edge of two lost pairs of pink silk(?) ties; gilt edges, faint traces of gauffering. 174–175 × 115 × c. 38 mm. (book closed).
