16th century?, Italian: thin pasteboards, left largely bare; quarter-binding with spine of reused parchment extending across about a quarter of each bare cover; no decoration, ties or endleaves; title added in ink at top of front cover, ?16th century, and repeated below, ?18th century. 246–247 × 175–177 × c. 15–16 mm. (book closed). The spine-fragment is from a Latin biblical manuscript in Caroline minuscule, 9th century?, with text from Joshua 2–3.
