Blind-stamped white whittawed leather over boards, 14th cent. (?), rebacked.
- Fol. 1, fly-leaf from a late 12th-century Latin theological commentary.
- Fol.105, from a 12th-century missal or sacramentary, contains some votive masses.
Provenance and Acquisition
The feast of St Barnabas, ordered 'cum duabus missis' in 1203, appears in the hand of the original scribe. The feast of SS John and Paul, raised in 1218, was added on fol. 30. Cf. J.-M. Canivez, Statuta capitulorum generalium ordinis cisterciensis I (1933) 284, 485.
