Provenance and Acquisition

In 1423 the book was in the Lincoln chest at Oxford: 'Caucio Thome Holgate deposita in cista ⟨Ce⟩lton pro vjs viijd in festo Scolastice Virginis anno Mº CCCCº xxiijº & habeat [?] Moreton' (fol. iiv).

Windsor, collegiate chapel, pressmark ‘ay’, fol. iv verso (MLGB3): 'Chain-mark at foot of upper cover. Pressmark in proper position and form (other glossed books are marked AD, AF, AM, AO), but not in the usual hand.' (MLGB3)

Apparently acquired about 1613–15.
