'Hunc librum dedit frater Robertus de Wynchedone prior monasterij Radingie fratribus claustralibus de Redynge', '... Quem qui alienauerit celauerit vel fraudem de eo fecerit, anathema sit Amen.', 14th and 15th centt.

Reading, Berkshire, Benedictine abbey of Saint Mary the Virgin: 'Hunc librum dedit frater Robertus de Wynchedone prior monasterii Radingie fratribus claustralibus de Redynge . . .' (fol. i recto, s. xv); another rather earlier inscription to the same effect on the pastedown. (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
