Provenance and Acquisition
Douce is recorded as having bought a tiny illuminated 'Officium B.V.M.' for £1. 5s 0d in the Maffeo Pinelli sale in March 1789 which is perhaps identifiable as either MS. Douce 11 or MS. Douce 12 (Douce Legacy, p. 135)
