Two leaves containing two fragments of a Middle English verse translation of Apollonius king of Tyre, c. 140 lines in quatrains

The first fragment begins: 'sche is þe fairest of alle | þe kyng gan [ ] & on his knees byfore hire falle...'

The first fragment ends: '[ ]ollet deye for ȝou y wys raþer þan my man schal ȝou greue | [Str]angulion my douȝter ytok. & deuyse that hys hys wyf'

The second fragment begins: 'þat þe citesaynes wit gret deol hadde write hit to fore oure eyȝe | Appolyn gan to calle tarse douȝter wher euere þou be...'

The second fragment ends: 'Voide the payne of helle, O God, Lord, and persones threo. The blysse of heuene dwelle. amen por charite. | [Ex]plicit Appollonius Tyrus rex nobilis & virtuosus'
