Sermons from Leipzig University

Including several genres of sermons. Arts. 1.1 and 1.3 seem to contain mostly sermons delivered at the 'missa universitatis' and university sermons 'ad clerum', on which see Georg Buchwald, 'Die Leipziger Universitätspredigt in den ersten Jahrzehnten des Bestehens der Universität', Zeitschrift für Kirchengeschichte 36 (1916) 62–98. Art. 1.2 mostly contains various inception sermons, in particular the sermons given on the inception of masters of theology also known as 'principia bibliae' or 'recommendationes sacrae scripturae', on which see Joshua C. Benson, 'Identifying the Literary Genre of the De reductione artium ad theologiam: Bonaventure's Inaugural Lecture at Paris' Franciscan Studies, 67, 2009, 149–178, and literature there cited.
