The Castilian version of the Visigothic Liber Judiciorum, as pr. in the edition of the Real Academia Espanola, Madrid, 1815, except that in Book XII, between tits. 1 and 2 (fols. 117v-118v) are thirteen canons on the Jews:

There are marginal glosses for each law in the hand of the text.

Spaces left blank for nitials at bginnings of books, smaller initials blue with red and red with blue penwork. In the lists of capitula titles of books are enclosed in circles of blue and red.

Binding

Typical Holkham binding of polished brown leather; the spine lettered in gilt 'DE LOS | ENSINAMENTOS | DE LAS LEES || M.S. | ESPAGNOL'; joints repaired.

17th century: inscibed 'Liber hic est forus iud. secundum ... []lationis Wotaldi (?) ... Ser Etoro qu[...]', mostly erased.

Don Luis Varona Lapata (?), 17th century: inscribed (but almost totally erased) 'Es de don Luis Varona Lapata (?)'

Signed 'A. G.' (fol. 6r, top margin).
