Origin: Swiss, Basle (?); 1456

Provenance and Acquisition

Written by Mathias Harnischer, chaplain of St. Peter's, Basle , 1456: 'Explicit opus domini alberti quondam episcopi super duodecim prophetas scriptum manu domini Mathie harnescher cappelani in sancto petro bas[iliensi] Anno domini mccccl sexto prima mensis junij finitum Laus deo Amen.' (fol. 234r).
