Provenance and Acquisition

Dated by the scribe: '+ iesus. MccccLxxxxviij' (fols. i recto, 5r).

Inscribed, early 16th century: 'Di Baccio Baccellj no 15'.

George F. Nott, 19th century: inscribed 'Geo. Nott. Winchester' and 'G. F. Nott'.

Rev. Thomas Woodhouse, of Ropely, 19th century: inscribed 'Thos Woodhouse'.

After his death his son Edward Woodhouse of Oriel presented the volume to the Bodleian as from his father, 21 October 1891, in a letter now pasted in the book.
