F. 3. 14, Lincoln College, lat. 100, Magdalen College, lat. 172, Merton College 181, fol. 230 (binding leaf); Oriel College 42 contain writing in a hand identified as that of William of Malmesbury; for nos. 3–7 cf. N.R. Ker in EHR. 59 (1944) 371–6. Trinity College 1301 and Auct. F. 3. 14 are to be identified with volumes returned to the abbot of Malmesbury by the abbot of Glastonbury after the death of Roger Swyneshead, monk of Glastonbury, 12 May 1365 (BL, Arundel 2, fol. 80v).
