Sanctorale (fol. 1), beginning with St. Stephen (26 Dec.); common of the saints (fol. 76v); some votive masses and masses for the dead (fol. 82); kyriale (fol. 84v); Dominican proses in honour of the Virgin (fol. 90); later additions among which twice the prose Sospitati dedit aegros of St. Nicholas (fols. 99v, 100); troped Benedicamus (fol. 103) and proses; noted litany of the saints (fol. 108); additions; proses (fol. 112), mostly of Our Lady, incomplete; short litany without notation (fol. 116); kyriale (fol. 118) from a different book; tropes among which for 2 voices (see also fols. 104, 107v), incomplete at the beginning. Fols. 1–89, 108–10 form the original volume.

Foliation: Original foliation of red Roman figures in the middle of the outer margins of the versos.
Musical Notation:

Square notation on 9 staves of 4 black or red lines, 216 × 123 mm.

fol.108–9: 2 col. of 10 staves of 4 red lines, 215 × 125 mm.

The quire with Dominican proses was copied to form part of the volume; 9 staves, 220 × 140 mm.

The 2nd kyriale: heavy square notation on 10 long staves (14th cent.), 132 × 100 mm.

Cistercian abbey of St Mary, Hauterive (St Nicholas was the titular of the parish church at Hauterive).
