Fragment of one quaternion, containing the Hours of the Cross from lauds to compline, with rubrics in Latin and Italian. Starting imperfect in Matins in the hymn Patris sapientia

11 long lines. Ruled in pale brown ink with 12 lines, between single vertical bounding lines extending the full height of the page.


Psalms, hymns, etc. with two-line initials alternately blue with red penwork, or vice versa; verses and other minor divisons with similar simpler one-line initials.


Half-bound in modern pinkish paper over pasteboards and plain parchment; the spine inscribed '[S.?] XV. Horae de S. Cruce'
