'Bourdelot', fol. 5: Jean Bourdelot (d. 1638) and/or his nephew and heir Pierre Bourdelot (d. 1685); Pierre was the doctor of Queen Christina of Sweden, who acquired most of his library, now in the Reg. lat. fonds in the Vatican (Elisabeth Pellegrin, 'Catalogue des manuscrits de Jean et Pierre Bourdelot', Scriptorium 40/2 (1986) 202-232).
The present manuscript acquired by Isaac Voss, Queen Christina's librarian (Pellegrin, p. 203).
Acquired from Voss by Nicholas Heinsius: 'NH vidi' (Pellegrin, p. 203); Heinsius sale, March 1682/3; catalogue, II.88, no. 338.
Purchased at the sale by Edward Bernard.
Bequeathed by him to his wife; purchased from her by the Bodleian in 1698.
