Provenance and Acquisition

The Cisterican monastery of Chiaravalle della Colomba, near Piacenza, on the evidence of the binding (cf. e.g. MS. Lat. th. d. 41).

Paolo Giovio (1483-1552); the upper pastedown inscribed '9L'(?)?.
