Provenance and Acquisition

Roche, Yorkshire, Cistercian abbey of St Mary the Virgin: 'Liber monacorum de rupe'. 'III E [formerly F]'. 'I' 'II' 'III' in the margins at intervals, as in Laud Misc. 145. Presumably a companion volume to Cambridge UL Gg. 3. 33, which contains the second part of Lethbertus, similar marks and also the Roche ex libris on fol. 1r. (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
