St Albans, Hertfordshire, Benedictine abbey of St Alban: 'Hic est liber sancti Albani quem qui ei abstulerit vel titulum deleuerit anathema sit amen' (fol. 3r), in red, s. xiii. 'Hunc librum dedit dominus Ricardus de Bury episcopus Dunelmensis domui sancti Albani' (fol. 2v), s. xiv. (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
