Northampton, Northamptonshire, Cluniac priory of St Andrew: Northampton pressmark 'D.b.' fol. 3r. 'Liber [ ........................... ]' at top of fol. 1r: 'andree' possibly legible as the third word; also 'N'' at the end; ultra-violet light no help. (Medieval binding, s. xiv. The flyleaves are s. xiii from a copy of the legatine council in London 1237.) (MLGB3: evidence from an ex-libris inscription or note of gift to an institution).
'Thomas Peinton', s. xvi. On fol. 2v is 'R. h. r. p. h. l[iber] e[st] v[erus] p[ossessor]' as in Laud Misc. 86 and 397, both of which belonged to Peinton. (MLGB3)
