Provenance
This was fols 86-118 of a larger manuscript in the 14th century, identifiable as JJJ 23 in the 1514 catalogue of the Augustinian abbey of Saint-Victor, Paris (Les manuscrits de l'Abbaye de Saint-Victor: Catalogue établi sur la base du répertoire de Claude de Grandrue (1514), ed. Gilbert Ouy (1999), II 550-1); Ouy identifies
Paul and/or Alexandre Petau (?) (Ouy, II. 551)
After fol. 33 there was, when the manuscript came to the Bodleian, a printed French piece, 'De la grandeur de Dieu ...,' Paris, chez M. de Vascosan, 1553, sm. 4°, by P. Du Val, bishop of Sees ([4]+24 pages). This now seems to be in 4° T. 83 Art.
