Plain red initials; red rubrics, running heading, highlighting.

Brown tanned calf over laminated pulpboard for Abp. Laud, 1637–1639; rebacked.

Provenance and Acquisition

Frankfurt am Main, Deutschordenskommende Sachsenhausen: inscription (late fourteenth or fifteenth century) 'Nota quod iste liber est dominorum ord. theutonicorum in Saszenhusen Francfordie,' (fol. 1r).

William Laud, 1573–1645, 1637.

Part of his third donation to the Bodleian, 1639.
