All are stated to be autograph except the Basia (fol. 79) and one other poem (fol. 135), which are written perhaps by Philippus Morus and corrected by Secundus

There is also later handwriting, as if by an editor

Provenance and Acquisition

'Nicolajj 33' (fol. xviii: 1533; perhaps a brother of the author of the volume, Johannes Secundus)

A note by Rawlinson states: 'This was purchased amongst Ld. Somers's M.S.S. and has I believe been collated for the 2d edition by Scriverius, Lugd. Bat. 1619. 12º'. The note indicates that this manuscript also belonged to Sir Joseph Jekyl1
