'Iste liber est magistri Michael rectoris ecclesie de Cropthorne & traditur Ade de Furches diacono usque ad Festum sancti Johannis Baptiste anno Domini mº ccº lxxº nono' (altered from ... lxxvº?). (For (a later?) Adam de Fourches of Cropthorne, ordained subdeacon in 1306, see Register of Bishop William Ginsborough, 1303 to 1307, p. 156).
