History
Provenance and Acquisition
Hyde, Hampshire, Benedictine abbey of Holy Trinity, St Mary the Virgin, and St Peter: (MLGB3: Liturgical evidence, often to be found in the kalendar).
Gough liturg. 8 and Rawl. liturg. e.1* probably formed one volume: it looks as though the blue in Gough liturg. 8 fol. 71v has flaked off onto Rawl. liturg. e.1*, fol. 1r. See the edition printed from this copy (and Gough liturg. 8) by J. B. L. Tolhurst, The Monastic Breviary of Hyde Abbey, HBS (1930, etc.). Binding (s. xviii i ) identical with that of Rawl. liturg. e.1*. Double cols. of 36 lines. (MLGB3)
Bequeathed to the Bodleian in 1755
