A copy of the Latin deed of Doge Nicolò Tron (1471–1473) appointing Christoforo Duodo as master (rector) of four galleys proceeding to Flanders, with 123 instructions, dated 1st August 1466 and altered to 1472 (fol. 25v): 'Dat' in nostro ducali palatio. die primo augusti. Indictione xiiij^ma Lxxij

Followed at fol. 26 by seventy-four general instructions for the galleys, in Italian, 6th March, 1472/1473

Andrew Watson notes that the correct indiction for 1466 is 'iiii' and not 'xiiij', as is given here. The Italian section of the document begins on fol. 26 with the heading 'Mcccclxxij. die. vj. martij in rogatis' (Catalogue of Dated and Datable Manuscripts in Oxford Libraries (1984), no. 699
