Provenance

Canterbury, Kent, Benedictine abbey of St Augustine (originally of St Peter and St Paul): Probably formed one volume with Selden Supra 26. One quire of eight leaves. Additions to the Kalendar made at St Augustine's in s. xiii 2 : April 27 'Veneratio'; St Augustine's grading of feasts, as in St John's Cambr. MS. 262 (pr. Wormald, Benedictine calendars after 1100). The additions are probably by W. de S. Clara, and this was part of Selden Supra 26, which formerly contained 'Tabule astronomice cum Kalendario. compotus'. (MLGB3: evidence from the style of script or illumination and from liturgical detail).
