Statutes of King's College, Cambridge

A copy of some Latin statutes of King's college, Cambridge, apparently a draft prior to the longer form actually given in 1443. In this draft, for instance, the first statute after the exordium begins 'De totali numero Sociorum ac Scholarium... Exordio omnium vt sacra Theologia quæ scientiatum omnium merito censenda est domina'

There is a gap represented by seven blank leaves (fols 16-22), after which the first words are 'Sed quod omnes Socii' about recreations
