Provenance and Acquisition

"This, the ancient oath book of the company of tailors incorporated in Oxford, was presented to me by the company with the rest of their books and papers in the year 1838 when the effects of the company were disposed of. Geo. P. Hester their steward from 1826' (fol. 3).
