Hand(s)

Humanistic script (Pächt and Alexander ii. 294). The scribe was identified by A. C. de la Mare (unpublished correspondence, 1988) as 'Gaspar Tommasi olim Antonii de Galdinellis de Castro florentino', citizen and notary of Florence, who signed BAV MS. Reg. lat. 2071 (14 Sept. 1469) and also wrote Beinecke MS. 165.

Provenance and Acquisition

The name 'De Boury' (possibly 'De Brunj') (Pächt and Alexander: 'de Brun') has been added in a rondel, between two cherub-like beings, at the bottom of fol. 1 (16th century ?)
