Hand(s)

Initial suggestion made by R. Barbour, ‘Summary Description of the Greek Manuscripts from the Library at Holkham Hall’, Bodleian Library Record 6 (5) (1960) 606 that fols 1r-112r were written by Ἀνδρέας Δῶνος, RGK I, 14, RGK II, 22, RGK III 23 (16th c.) has been revised by the same when in 9. 2. 1963 she wrote in litteris to Canart, that: ‘I went into the A. D. question very thoroughly and decided that there were either 3 scribes, or 3 distinct stages in the evolution of one. I looked at all the manuscripts here that I or anyone else had ever suggested might be by A. D., and drew up a list of over 40 which I think are really one or other of the 3 scribes or stages. The result is that I do not think MS. Holkham Gr. 75 fol. 1–112 is by any of them...’

fols 114–258: Γαβριὴλ μοναχὸς Ζαχαρίας (wrongly named as Gabriel monk, son of Zacharias by de Ricci (1932), p. 10 and as ‘Gabrielos monk, son of Zacharias’ by Barbour (1960) 606): fol.
