Brecon, Brecknockshire, Benedictine priory of St John the Evangelist: 'Dedicata fuit ecclesia sancti Iohannis euang' Brechonie in festo sancti Aldelmi' (in kalendar in red at 22 May in main hand); 'Sancte Nonite matris Dauid' (in black at 3 March in main hand). 'Iste liber constat domino Thome Paynot de brechonia' (fol. 85r, s. xvi. 'Thome' over an erasure of another hand; last two words and 'dno' erased but legible by u-v light). (MLGB3: evidence from liturgical detail and an inscription of ownership).
