Good historiated and other initials. A quire added, fols. 239–246, from a different MS. (Pächt and Alexander iii. 493, pl. XLVIII)

fol. 1r: initial F: St. Jerome seated before a lectern, writing (badly rubbed) (Prologue).

fol. 4v: initial I: Seven panels depicting Christ Enthroned and six days of creation (Genesis).

fol. 394r: initial L: St Matthew reclining on a couch; animal head (St Matthew's Gospel).

Pink and blue initials, decorated with coiled tendrils, foliage, flowers and animal heads.

Blue initials decorated with red penwork.
